Was wondering how to paint the rubbers on the plastic glass for this 90. And remembered the paint pens we use at work, so I liberated a couple of black ones
The paint pen in question are Edding 750 paint markers.
Still quite fiddly, but the paint control from them is very good. You only need to prime it before use, and the paint will flow slowly.

That looks great. What is your route with the fixings for these windows, just paint black, remove or paint rear of windows to hide them?

Ordered some gear from rcmodelex today. The 90 wont be getting its topcoat until the parts arrive. As I dont want to drill the body after I have painted it.

Blimey, that’s looking awfully scale
I’m amazed RC4WD charge top whack and use inferior parts that are simply a specification option to them.

Here`s a photo of the inside of my 90 shell, its Ford Polar Grey. A pretty good match for the interior of the 50th anniversary. It came out pretty well, no orange peel effect either :woohoo:
First photo of the interior, still got a bit to do. Dash is painted matt black. Needs some grey bits painting on it.
I am very happy as yet with the inside paintwork, just hope we can get the outside looking this good!.

So it`s in the car with some other parts for a primer session tomorrow at work

Got some parts today from rcmodelex
D90 front cage and wing tops in ally checker plate
Alloy checker plate side protectors, and a large sheet of their alloy checker plate, as I want to do the lower rails below the doors. I also ordered one of there LR sticker sheets as well.
