    Moon buggy time.
Do I have enough rocks down south for this? No, but I wanna imagine I do and so it’s build time again.

    Twin steer for confusion.

Tubes for days and no space for anything.

Gmade R1 buggy is the main makeup of this.
It took nearly a month to get one.  I searched at Christmas but nothing, then randomly 2 weeks later there’s a few available. Then a further two weeks for it to show up. I tried ordering the bits that go in between but no luck and then just like the cage today they’re available.

Simple formula for this. Axial gears and axles because they’re available.

Hopefully a tiny four banger in the back and a vintage Tamiya driver for the top.

Ultimately it’s not what I want as I want a metal all singing and dancing one but that’ll wait for later.
With a bit of luck the middle bits will show up in the week.

Thanks. It Fusion Hobbies based in the U.K. It doesn’t let me leave a link.
When I ordered the cage they didn’t appear on search results but now they have parts.

Like you Mark Ill be using Axial hardware, I have a transmission and a pair of AR 44 axles, might use two fronts for 4ws… will you make your own links? Ill research if SOA brackets are available…..Its been mailed so Id best start a new thread when it arrives and stop derailing yours! It will be interesting to how each progresses….

Old scx10 axles to start. If it works them maybe something like this.

Or a pair of Capra axles. Links will probably just be scx10 as I’ve got a few.
They do a servo mount for a scx10ii

I’ve only had a we’ll let you know when it’s posted email. I’m tempted to buy another cage set and build a second but I’ll see how this turns out.

Another moon buggy! my debit card is getting sweaty … I already have a Capra cage I bought for a simple buggy project, maybe I should change course.

Cheap little project. I’m hoping it’ll not take up much space.

    @Mark How this build going?

Not sure to be honest. As I needed axles links and a few bits and bobs I left it with a friend to build as he was selling the bits. I’m still waiting for an update even though I’ve asked for pics.

    Yeah, end in sight.
Right, today it came home for me to add some details.
It’ll get engine driver and final placement of the battery and esc and then hopefully hit the rocks.
I’m not sure if it’ll crawl but with a bit of tuning I’m hopeful. A few rushed pics.

Currently it’s quite low, it’s how I want it but not sure how it’s going to perform.
