It always seems difficult to find information about the Scale Nationals unless you’re on Facebook where even there it seems there’s a constant stream of questions. Anyway I notice three days before the event this has been posted on the Facebook page and I copy it here for those who don’t do Facebook:-

The Scale Nats are 2 days of long, challenging trails and Comp Courses in 15 acres of private Derbyshire woodland.

Starts 9am Sat the 12th and finishes Sun the 13th.

Cost is £10 Per Rig Per day. All entrants and spectators must read and sign a waiver form to be onsite. Parking on the hard standing is first come first served, then the driveway sides and field will be used.

We will try and accommodate larger vehicles but it does get very busy so we respectfully ask Caravans, Large RV’s and Motor Homes to use one of the many official campsites in the local area, one we suggest is: Birchwood Farm Caravan Park, Wirksworth Rd, Matlock DE4 5HS Phone: 01629 822280

Also remember, there’s a permanent Google Maps pin for the UK Scale Nationals location.

Postcode is DE4 5AS – Bracken Rocks Derbyshire. Booking in starts 9am Saturday, and those camping Friday night access to site is from 5pm onward.

Hot food available all weekend, Full enclosed toilet facilities (plus 2 extra portaloos added!), Onsite shop and brand, team driver support, No onsite electricity, we run a generator for the Nats Control Cabin. So we suggest you charge up all your cells in advance or bring a leisure battery or generator.

This is a family friendly event with a strict no Drugs allowed on site policy, so anyone not respecting this will be asked to leave. Drinking, especially for those camping is allowed, but as ever, remember there’s families about, and possibly trying to sleep so respect them by keeping the noise down after 10pm.

Fire pits and BBQ’s are allowed if kept off the ground, keeping any damage to the field minimal.

Upon arrival, as ever look out for the banners on the gate and the stone wall at the entrance…

Please feel free to cut n paste this and steal the images to use anywhere you want to help us spread the word.

    See ya there guy’s n gal’s…
