Right, drunk purchase.
I didn’t think it would turn up at the price I paid for it but alcohol gave me the I don’t care approach.
it said 2 months for delivery but I had hope. It moved about quite a bit on the tracking info and without warning it showed up.
It’s not going to do much crawling so it went in the attic for next couple of months.
I was lucky enough to get Christmas off and then the day before going back I develop a cough. So in between Covid tests I got this little guy out and started filling it up with styrene.
More soon
Nice!

They just look so right, and for a toy grade rc they’ve captured the details. Out door pics will come soon hopefully.
That’s a very nice door.
Thanks, I like doors so much that I’m contemplating doing something along the lines of this.

I’ve managed to resist buying one of these to sit in the corner of the garage so far … I was hoping they might release a 4wd one at some point as I believe its quite a common option on the Kei trucks in Japan.

I think I got lucky. Before they were everywhere I saw a few pics on Instagram and found mine for £26.99 delivered. As soon as I bought it the price more than doubled. I think they under priced it. I think drifting versions are around. Converting them to 4 wheels drive is easy as I think the b24 is almost a straight swap.
I finally did something with this today. It needed a little filler panel round the cab to close it off. I knew it would be a five minute job but it took a couple of months to do it.
With that done I could get it filled and painted, which I did.
The weather is a bit random at the moment, looks like it’s going to rain but it’s not and the paints being slow to dry.
Hopefully final assembly for this one.
