Thanks guys.
The very very last things in the rig are hand-protectors to fix the hands on the handlebar. My simple yarn-fixators dont do the things they should.
@starscream: next to do is to complete the double-portal-axles for the articulated trial car. The quad was just a little break and a welcome change from this interesting but slow progressing build.

Maiden run from my Oilfield Truck.
I‘m very pleased to see it working.
And it wins the „best of show“- cup at the hgv and multiaxle-summit in Ratingen/Germany.

Congratulations, well deserved. Looks like some tough competition too, I like the red Man – can’t believe how small it looks compared to your truck!

I like it too. It has a very good performance, had working and removable gin poles as well.
But It‘s only 1/11. The Foremost is exact 1/10 and it’s a huge thing also in the real world. 3,5 meters wide!

Hi there,
Winter is coming and „The Wrocket“ has to wake up for Mud-Catching.
Formerly build as excercise of turning and to know the limits of my lathe.
A 80mm aluminium tube was the base of this funny car, sitting on axial wraith axles.
Before the Mud is coming, some posing

The wrocket has a high center of gravity.
So Last year I‘ ve designed heavy airplane-aluminium-discRims.
unfortunately no glue has hold the tires.
After a Brainstorming with Friends at a trail I decide to make Hybrid-Rims
outside glueable plastics. Inside the discrims.
after a whole year of ignorance I‘ve made them Today.
Special feature: floating discs with my logo 🙂

To get rid of the big fat roof-rack (over 500 gramms!) I wish to store sandladders etc. inside the car.
First Step: build an entry for my fingers 🙂
So I take my very small jigsaw and cut out the backdoor
A microservo and a bit plastic will be the opener.
works.
Now I can strip the roof-rack to a lightweight rolling cage.

A small update for the Defender. The working light is too high for the roll cage. Today I add an extension to the cage. After some powder coating and repair of the light it works fine.

Hi Folks,
my current Project, a rc – floating crane in 1/50 comes into a phase that I’m just working and nothing to think. So i’ve started a new project. Base-Car for this will be a Traxxas trx6.
The new project should be an amphibic car and therefore the first testrun of the trx6 has the main focus to test the water proofness of the benz. Test was passed. Two small vids you can see here
