my current project? A fantasy car. Offroad. In a 1920 roadster style. Build from scratch with five scx10(I) axles. 2.2 tires, Hobbywing fusion motor and servonaut transmitter/receiver
Tube frame from 6x1mm stainless steel tubes.
Why? Just for fun 🙂
It will be a base car and an appendix
The base car gets a tatra style chassis with two front axles.
A first shape giving bending was today the cockpit border. it will be a two seater with a looooooong bonnet 🙂
following… your builds are very different from the ones that get posted on RC forums and thats a great thing!

Like this a lot, fabulously different!
my guess was it will be some kind of farm truck but no…
definitely no farm truck 😀
while waiting for the stainless tubes, i’ve made the front transfer case with it’s three exits (two normal exit for front and rear axle, third exit to reach the appendix)
First step: the gears. 18 tooth modul1 with keyways. Handmade of course 🙂
All parts together
slightly polished. It will be a bling bling car 🙂
since today it’s a roller.
A view of my “fine work” place for welding, soldering and making jewellery
Now it’s time for many supports struts to get it strong and rigid.
Love it! I have skill envy!
Your skill set is astonishing.
Another quite extraordinary build in progress, amazing.

just the headlights are missing to complete the front part.
tubes: stainless steel
panels are glued to some of these little holders.
cutted and pressed from a large roll of sheet metal like the panels too
The seats etc will covered with a really red leather.
The bonnet will opened like the big ones from the driver , using a lever and a cable
