Actually, thinking about it, it might be easier to just have the centre box have a neutral and put a parking brake on the driveline.

Hmmm off to look at petrol buggy brakes

Do you have a rough idea how big it’s actually going to be?
        That cab looks huge.
I know Neil said that isn’t yours but it looks enormous!

Well the body will be 11.5″ wide to the edge of the fenders, and the overall length of the truck (if I stick with scaling it to full length) will be something like 37″ so, yeah pretty big.

Just realised that this will be as wide as Mog I’s wheel base 👿

i was wondering that too.. must be close to 30″ with the front overhang of the cab and the 25″ span between the axle centres.. going by the pic it doesnt look like there could be much difference in rear length past the rear tyre diameter..

            a damn big beast!!

Just noticed Pete musdt have been typing at the same time so i would trust his estimate more than mines 😆

Going to take some serious electrics to get that hauling along!
Crack on, we want to see it finished lol.

Pictures courtesy of Dready, I knew it was going to be big, but I hadn’t really grasped just how big :jawdrop:

That’s a nice looking model Geoff.

A couple of bit’s of the puzzle that will be the drive-train arrived today :cheer:

Center diff from a kyosho inferno, I mostly want this for the disk brakes as I want to have a functional emergency brake for winching. That said I may see about adapting the center diff unit as well.

This is a kind of daunting pile of bits, when you haven’t built one before and don’t have a manual (have since found a manual online)

It won’t need to fit in the car/front room as I suspect I am going to end up using it to commute in/ live in when the mrs see’s the bills for all the bits ::doh::

Pete one tip is don’t use ball races on the slider bits on those gearboxes a couple of bearings should be glued in from what I can remember these need to be the brass ones ::thumpsup::
