And thanks

IT’S DONE
First, the parts that didn’t make it into the build. First and foremost is lights. They’ll come when my controller arrives. The big deal with them is the plan I have for backlit doorhandles. The other bits are the laser range finder and the smoke grenade launchers. I left those off because I couldn’t find mount locations I liked. They make the truck look like something out of Tank Girl, which seems to take the focus off the truck itself. Finally, tyres. I really like the 1.9 Baja Claws on there, so will order some up from Martin and stick them on.
Now for what is in the build ::thumb::
Had to laugh at my distorted intent look in the rear window ::cool
Got my gimbal setup and working at long last, so will steal some time on Hampstead Heath between tomorrow and Friday for outdoor shots and the video required for the build off on SBG.

Winner winner, I hate chicken dinner. If I qualify for voting on there as I’m not a paid up member you get my vote for this ::thumb::

This should surely be in the forums best builds category, simply stunning. Kind of reminds me of an Action Force toy I had in the eighties (although much better of course!)
I’m not a lover of jeeps but this is something else, best of luck with the comp on SGB :worthy:

congratulations on making best build! ::thumb:: looks sweet!
backlit door handles would be cool; if your still thinking of them, thought i would mention having a look into 0603 SMD LES’s nice and small and should manage to get the right resultSeptember 30, 2016 at 7:04 pm #64453MemberFourth Protocol- Scale Off Road Pro

Got the video done. Be warned – it’s terrible.
