Not a fan of the body personally but the axles look good and tuck under nicely. No mention of portals but it certainly looks like it from the last photo.

Everyone’s getting in on the portal axle trend at the moment.. Strange when it’s not really that big of a ‘thing’ in the 1:1 4×4 world (in general hobby terms anyway)

I know what you mean, I’ve never really been tempted by portals, apart from when I was building a Mog. This looks to me like a TRX-4 clone. I read yesterday that one of the former founders of Axial, who has now left that company following the recent takeover by Horizon Hobby has just joined Redcat so they may be one to watch.

Next step in the portal-hype is eventually to clone my doubleportals. 🙂

The normal user will like it because the Idea of „scale“ ends quickly when the car stops at every little stone.

I‘m waiting for the Mail from Axial to buy the copyrights. Then Axial will conquer back lost markets to the trx4 with a scx5.

And I will be rich and famous. Yeah 🙂

    Regards

    Ralf
