Looking good, RCMart are a good place for Pitbull tyres, good prices and as yet I’ve never been hit with import duty.

thanks Charlie, I’ve ordered mine from Amain Hobbies, same price as RCMart, already had a few things from there and delivery has been pretty quick, I’m glad you mentioned RCMart though as one of the reasons I didn’t get them from there is that my IPad says their website is “not secure” so I was going to ask the question if anyone has used them, but you’ve just answered that for me, so thanks 👍🏻

Just want to say a huge thank you to Davey Crockett for printing and supplying me with a Mercedes badge for the front of the Mog, it’s really finished off the front of the truck and looks great, thanks Davey, what a guy 👍🏻

    here’s a few pictures from today’s outing

Finally got round to fitting the new wheels on the Mog a couple of weeks ago, I did buy some PitBull Rock Beasts for it but I’ve been so impressed with the original tyres I’ve kept them on, they just seem to be able to tackle any situation, even when they are caked in mud they are still able to pull me up ridiculous gradients, and they look great too 😬

They’ve had a couple of runs out so please excuse the mud and scratches

Looks good, I’ve heard a couple of people express surprise at how well those tyres perform.

Time for some heavier axles on the Mog, so I got these from RcBitz and a 10% overdrive gear set for the front axle

also got some of these decals from a company called CChand, I think they’re something to do with RC4WD, they make some fantastic scale stuff, so I’ve ordered something else from them as well which I’m pretty excited about, should be landing this week 😬

they’re not stickers, they are almost like wafer thin metal badges

    thanks for taking a look

A few more mods for the Mog

some SSD metal diff covers adding a little more weight (24g for both) and some SSD rear axle brass weights (104g) as I found it a tiny bit nose heavy on steep descents

    2893BF69-25A3-4F06-94D9-87FE8BB64847

A set of Element (Team Associated) Factory Team shocks with a set of Samix brass spring cups (24g)

    ECDFF53B-C897-45FE-A6C4-AD731182A151

The Axial shocks weren’t too bad but in my experience of racing 1/10 buggies for over 30 years nothing comes close to a Team Associated shock absorber, so when these Factory Team versions were released I just couldn’t resist, and the difference is huge.

Thanks Charlie, just got to trim up the inner fenders at the front so they follow the contour of the bumper
