Axial have released a builder’s kit version of the SCX10 II chassis which includes a full set of aluminum links (steering and suspension), WB8 HD Wildboar™ driveshafts, and mounting hardware to build a 11.4”, 12.0” or 12.3” wheelbase vehicle.

Obvious differences are the one piece axles and the centrally mounted transmission reminiscent of the original SCX10.

Full details on Axial’s site here.

Watched the SBG video about this earlier, looks like a good base for a build … I wonder what it will cost once it’s over here??

With the full kit around the £300 mark this is going to have to come in a fair bit cheaper for it to make sense, £200 or less would be my guess?

Looks really good, I like the changes they’ve made for this.

Having just compared prices with the other kits i’d hope for a RRP of around £180 which would be nice.

£180 would be golden. It’s up for pre-order on Tower Hobbies for $199.

It’s now listed on horizons website at £189, most of the other trucks in the lineup are available at around 10% less than retail so it could well end up sub £180!
