Yay, nowhere to go and I’m not usually competitive but I’m feeling competitive.
Started out with winning this job lot and winning is what I have planned.
All the comp trucks seem to have portals so I’m starting there.
Traxxas for the win as most people own them.
In the mix is a set of SSD Portal delete parts.
Next up is a Power Wagon as all the comp trucks have them.
Then as I’m all about being competitive I purchased a set of low CG rails
More soon.
Ohh nice stuff buddy 👍🏻
All dressed up and nowhere to go 🙁 Still, the fun part is building them right.
Yep, and with covid it’s preventing me from attending the Lstr.
I’m so failing at winning. The random chassis that I purchased on eBay is a head scratcher. The wheelbase works with the 4Runner but the skid sits too low to work with that body. It doesn’t work with the Power Wagon.</p>
Frustrated I picked up some styrene and I’m part way through making this chassis uncompetitive.
I built up the Traxxas chassis and that works with the Power Wagon but I’m missing the body posts which I’ve not managed to source at Modelsport.
Then the ride height doesn’t look good so whilst looking on eBay I picked this little lot up.
I’m not sure if it’ll be useful for comping but it’ll have portals.
I’ve got absolutely nowhere with those chassis so the Gspeed will get the Power Wagon
That bobbed and pinched 4 runner body looks good Mark, did you get any further with it?

Thanks, it’s as is still. Not to happy with it but hopefully it’ll get used. It might work with the Gspeed or an old trx4 chassis with random axles.
I am colleting bits for a comp truck too, I approve of the chassis choice

Your pile of bits always look better than mine.
