Update finally received a Parcel today with 1 Wraith Axle in it.
    So set about Narrowing it.
Took 12.5mm out of each end to bring the width in with the new rules.
I’ll do a ‘how to’ once I have got the Bearing Seated in the End.
Its a little rough round the edges but this was a Donor Casing to see If I could get the concept to work.
Basically you cut the nurled end off and reprofile the exsisting tube.
That way you dont have to glue anything, your just making it shorter.

Compared to stock narrowed by 25mm

I’ve been busy lately on the Mini Truck body but finally today got a bit of me time.

Finally tracked down the Owners Photographs.
Loads of them to look through too many to post

    Jeff Mayfield’s Photos – myPOWERBLOCK

Got the Servo Mount in,bit of a strange position but that will become clear later.
Also the Plate for the Transmission.
    IMG_2427_zps38f9b490.jpg

A wraith donated its skid plate which makes the whole link process alot easier. I notched one side so i can pull it all out in one go.
    IMG_2428_zps0a6d9c14.jpg

    Trans bolts in here

    IMG_2429_zps2e66d0c2.jpg

    and just clears the servo!!
    IMG_2430_zps4424006c.jpg

Next part was made from Alooominum to slide between the chassis rails at the front.
    IMG_2431_zps2ef3c448.jpg

A bearing seats in both sides
    IMG_2432_zps3ea1b7e7.jpg

Next an old Blackwell axle stub lost its life to a grinder and the torch to be turned into a servo horn. (wants a little more cleaning up)
    IMG_2433_zpsbeb0d5a2.jpg

    That slides in like so

    IMG_2434_zps43f612c1.jpg

    Pin through then a Hex
    IMG_2435_zpsf0b77d2c.jpg

Finally an Rc4wd Wheel Adaptor thing with an arm bolted on top completes the steering Cam
    IMG_2436_zps13ac2d02.jpg

Links next just waiting for some more Revo Ends to show up. So i made lots all different sizes whilst I was waiting. (NO I@M NOT MAKING ANYMORE before anyone asks!!)
There all Stainless Steel as well which is nice.

    Getting there.
2hours trying to fit tyres on those wheels 😡
I swapped out the M2.5 hardware for Scale M2.5 Bolts and removed all the outer M1.6’s going to Paint them a Dull Grey Colour.
    IMG_2440_zpsb8617a3c.jpg
Alloy Steering Horn and Linkage is in now so I can build a Better representation of the Engine instead of the Flat Panels that were Original done.
    IMG_2441_zpsa1e2b51f.jpg
Started on the Firewall the Engine will be attached to the Chassis.
Changed the Bottom Ends of the King Shocks to get some more height.
They want shifting out a little bit at the bottom, there a little straight for my liking.
    IMG_2442_zpsfc49800c.jpg
Skids in and Hammer Transfer Case need to shorten a Shaft to join the 2 up.
    IMG_2443_zpsc9e2e287.jpg
Monty has been taken from the Passenger seat of the FJ.
Not really any room for legs on this one so i’ll make him some hand controls!
    IMG_2444_zps07c62bba.jpg
Waiting for Rod Ends then I can get the links sorted all round.

Transfer Case is in and I modifed a Junfac Shaft to act as the go between.
I cut the Shaft in 3 Places then Sleeved it in Stainless Tube then Brazed all the ends up.
Raised the Transfer case up to make the line less severe.
    IMG_2453_zps2d941d57.jpg
Started the base for the Interior, Space wise I am going to be able to have pretty much everything in there.
    IMG_2454_zpsa444c55d.jpg
Grill next and what a PITA!! but it works and the steering linkage passes through the bottom with no clearance issues.
I need to double up the mesh I think to make it less see through.
But I need to make the light brackets yet so that can wait a while.
    IMG_2455_zps3a759ca8.jpg
Got an Rc4wd Winch to fit on the front as well.
    IMG_2456_zps57fc661f.jpg
Looking better than the original one already
    IMG_2458_zps7b58ebe9.jpg
Also decided to have a better go at painting it now I have all the extra reference Photo’s that I found last week.

    There’s a Question?

I’d say around 100 at a rough guess.
