I’ll put this up here as its what I’m working on in my spare time at the moment.
    Long Story this:-
Originally it was a Commission Build for an Individual who shall remain nameless
(don’t ask I wont tell you)
It was Finished and Posted 6000 Miles to its destination, on arrival It was discovered that one Trunk Hinge had broken in transit.
The Buyer Unreasonably wanted it repaired by me (all costs to be covered by me!), I declined and Gave him a full refund.
I then paid to have it shipped back another 6000 Miles hence the title!!
Anyway enough of the Soap Opera
    Pictures:-

I got an Airbrush for Christmas
So I removed the Engine detail and Grill started the Spray Job
I’m going to make a 3dimensional Enigine and also a Metal Grill

These are just base colours at the moment till I get the hang of this Airbrushing lark.

It will be running Narrowed Wraith Axles.
I already have the New Hitman Wheels and some Tyres
Just trying to source the axle parts at the moment.
    More soon.

Its going to get done as well.

I was proper annoyed and almost smashed it to pieces when I got it back
but figured the better thing to do was to actually finish it.

    January Update.
I’ve made my mind up its going to be a Class 3 Rig running narrowed Wraith Axles. (there on order)
So Chassis I thought that i’d have a go at building my own I mean how hard can it be??
Anyone can sling a body on an SCX10 Chassis!
Set up the TIG and set to to work.
Turns out very hard with all those interior curves.
Very soon I realised that i might have bitten off a bit more than I could chew in trying to replicate the original, Big Respect to those who do this all the time!
Anyway found some box section for the Main Rails and then decided to tube the rear out to tie in with the Interior Cage.
Its not prefect a few of the welds are a little boogerish but It’s strong and think that it will do the job just fine.
The Transmission when I get one will be bolted to the Rails along with a Removeable Skid that i’m going to make as well.

Shot it with some Dull Brown to keep the Rust at bay for a little longer, Its all steel so when it get s scratched up it’ll look dandy.

    Wheels are 2.2 Rc4wd Hitmans
    Hitman 2.2 Beadlock Wheels
Tyres are Rc4wd 2.2 Rock and Die.
Rock & Die Scale 2.2 Tires
There’s bound to be someone who says you should have bought Mudslingers like the ones on the Real Truck…
    2 Reasons
    1) I don’t like them never have done
    2) I got these for Christmas from Rc4wd “thumbsup”
